Today, the Health Wagon had the honor of hosting our Volunteer Appreciation Thanksgiving Luncheon – a heartfelt thank you to the hands and hearts that keep our mission moving forward.

Surrounded by friends, families, and longtime supporters, we presented a series of awards that reflected not just service, but spirit.

We began with the Legacy of Valor Award, presented posthumously in loving memory of Tommy Bruce Dingus and accepted by his family.

The Brave Heart Award honored Dan Wrinkle, whose strong, steady presence has become a backbone of our outreach efforts.

The Shepherd of Prayer Award was presented to Father Drake, whose spiritual support has blessed our missions and carried patients and staff through difficult times.

We were proud to recognize Peyton Gibson with the Jesus Strong Award, a young volunteer who shows up ready to work, ready to help, and ready to lead, proving that strength isn’t about age, but heart.

Finally, the Anchor of Access Award was presented to Heather Mays (pictured), whose two decades of service have opened doors for thousands of patients. Through the Pharmacy Connect program and now our St. Mary’s Faith Pharmacy, Heather steers a medication program that has rapidly secured more than $25 million in essential prescriptions, ensuring that cost never stood between our neighbors and the care they deserve.
