The Health Wagon’s 27th annual Move Mountains Medical Mission (M7) was another tremendous success, bringing together 200+ volunteers, healthcare professionals, students, and community partners to provide free healthcare services.
Preliminary numbers indicate that nearly 500 medical patients received care over the two-day event, demonstrating that the need for accessible healthcare remains as strong as ever in Southwest Virginia. M7 continues to serve uninsured, underinsured, and medically underserved individuals by connecting them with essential healthcare services close to home.
We are especially grateful for the outstanding media coverage this year. Local reporters took time to speak directly with patients, volunteers, and providers, sharing powerful stories that highlighted why outreach events like M7 continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Appalachian families.
