WISE COUNTY & CITY OF NORTON
APPALACHIA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: Open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Serves the Appalachia area, but may help those who live nearby in emergencies. Call (276) 565-1014.

CHURCH OF GOD OF PROPHECY, COEBURN: Donates to the food bank that is operated by Friendship Baptist Church, but may help those in need in extreme emergencies. Pastor is Titus Anderson, (276) 395-6889.

FOOD BANK OF WISE COUNTY, INC.: Provides food to those in need living in Wise County and the City of Norton. The Big Stone Gap branch is located in the former Haynes Grocery building at 914 Wood Avenue, East (just past KFC) and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The telephone number is (276) 523-2110. The Norton branch is located at 5335 Esserville Road, next to Kids Central and is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The telephone number is (276) 679- 3663.

FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH: An emergency food bank that serves residents of the Coeburn area. No specific hours, but contact the church at (276) 395-7170 and arrangements will be made to meet the needy person that day. They can possibly deliver to needy persons in the Coeburn area who do not have transportation. Pastor is Johnny Adkins.

HOPE CENTER: Provides food boxes once a month per family. Operated by the First Baptist Church of Coeburn. Open Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

ST. PAUL FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH: Open Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Call (276) 762-9440.

SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF POUND: Call (276) 796-5062. Open the third Wednesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Located past NAPA.

STEVENS CHURCH OF GOD: Open the 4th Thursday of each month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. They are located at 802 West Main Street, Wise. Their telephone number is 3276-28-5726.

ZION FAMILY MINISTRIES: Open the 4th Monday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. They are located at 1613 Norton Rd. SW Wise, VA 24293. Their phone number is (276) 679- 1871.
